Software Engineering Team Lead

Syarah is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of software engineers in the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions for the automotive industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and proven experience leading high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Manage and lead a team of software engineers in the development and implementation of software solutions for the automotive industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer needs.
• Take ownership of software development and deployment
• Ensure the team adheres to established software development best practices and processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key software development task

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical skills in PHP, Yii/Laravel, APIs, MySQL/Postgres, design patterns, AWS, DB Design, Performance tuning,
• Experience in Java, Typescript, React or Vue.js or Angular
• Proven experience leading high-performing software engineering teams.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in E-commerce companies is a plus.
• Must have experience in : PHP / Yii / Laravel, Node.js, Nest.js, Google Cloud, AWS, and MongoDB/ MySQL .
