Animal Care Associate

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an ­­­­­­­­Animal Care Associate for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­Wilmington, MA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

**Monday-Friday 1^st shift**
**Cannot have: Mice/rats/rabbits/snakes/hamsters/gerbils/guinea pigs**

• As an Animal Care Associate, you will be responsible for the well-being of our research animals.
• Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as impact the lives of patients across the world.
• In this role, key responsibilities may include:
  • Maintaining the quality and health of our animals, including providing their food and water and ensuring their environment is clean.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and putting away incoming animals.
  • Performing health observations, administering medications, taking blood samples, and giving injections while respecting protocols.
  • Other responsibilities, including the restocking of supplies, may be required.

Qualifications:

**Cannot have: Mice/rats/rabbits/snakes/hamsters/gerbils/guinea pigs**

• High School Diploma/GED or AS
• Comfortable working with laboratory animals

Compensation: $18 an hour
