I&E QUALITY COMPLETION INSPECTOR

DIRECT HIREPosition Summary:
The Quality Completions Inspector is the person who conducts the systems completion walk downs and supports Completions on punch list items, walk downs, and engineering changes. This is a skilled position with detailed knowledge of their specific craft and job specifications. This person will be working with QC, document controls, and the craft to make sure items in the field are installed per drawing and specification Qualifications: - 3+ years' experience as a journeyman & 2+ years' experience in supervisory position
- 5 years industrial construction experience
- 2-3 years in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas
- Computer Competency (Microsoft Office), Completions Database experience
- Craft competencies in the following:
Civil and UG Work, Structural and Buildings
Piping and Mechanical
Electrical and Instrumentation
Job Functions:
- Walk down systems and subsystems for completeness and identify any discrepancies.
- Identify any field installed Vs. drawing differences.
- Verify completed punch list items.
- Participate in client and commissioning walk downs.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: - Demonstrated Industrial Construction experience.
- Organization and time management
- Good decision-making abilities
- Able to troubleshoot and come up with solutions.
- Ability to work with others team player.
- Good communication skills with co-workers and subordinates
- Knowledge of turnover or completions
