Title: Sr. Project Engineer | Environmental (Water / Wastewater)
Location: Aurora, Rockford, or Itasca, IL
Duration: Permanent Hire
Our client is seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated Project Engineer to work in its Environmental Group. The Environmental Group, primarily focuses on water supply, water treatment, and wastewater treatment. The successful individual will work on a variety of planning, design, and construction projects involving water supply, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, wastewater treatment. and Infiltration and Inflow (I/I) studies.
Responsibilities include:- Participate on project teams
- Report to a group’s Project Manager and high-level management
- Prepare water and wastewater system reports
- Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities
- Provide construction phase engineering services for water and wastewater projects
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Have a minimum of five (5) – seven (7) years of design and construction engineering experience on water and wastewater systems
- Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver’s license
