Our Career Opportunity

Bailey Abbott now have an exciting new opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our team. Our Practice Manager will play a crucial strategic role within our management team, driving our business forward through continuous growth. Responsibilities will be diverse, including the engagement and retention of our valued Consultants.

Working as a Practice Manager you will get the opportunity to:

  • Ensure the business possesses the necessary consulting capabilities and capacity to effectively deliver on the sales strategy and pipeline
  • Build and sustain a high-performing consulting team through strategic planning, capacity planning, talent acquisition, training and development, and performance management
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Service Delivery Manager, and Capability Leads to align consulting services with market demand
  • Optimise resource allocation to ensure efficient utilisation and timely delivery of consulting services
  • Regularly assess employee engagement feedback through surveys, feedback sessions and meetings and implement retention strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of consultant’s technical skills and expertise to assist the sales team with project allocation
  • Attend client meetings and presentations as required to assist with the sales process

Requirements

Your skills and experience includes:

  • Extensive experience in consulting with a proven track record of leading consulting teams
  • Demonstrated experience in resource management and strategic planning
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a consulting practice
  • Strong management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the consulting team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse with a wide range of audiences
  • Customer-focused with ability to develop the team to provide high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to build a strong and cohesive team with a focus on an inclusive culture
  • Multi-tasker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ability to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions
