Title: Field Technician III Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 5-6 months Job Description: The Field Technician will be responsible for:
a) Taking care of logistics for field testing, including setting up communication services on the test phones and configuring the test devices using proprietary tools
b) Conduct field tests to validate the Location Technology performance on various devices
c) Organizing and parsing test data and generating test results
d) Driving company vehicles used for field testing; e) Pedestrian testing with test devices and supporting equipment
f) Troubleshoot test set-ups used for drive tests and pedestrian tests.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Good communication skills - should be able to follow instructions to setup the test, conduct the test, organize test data, and report problems
* Basic computer skills including ability to use MS Word and Excel
* Valid driving license. Should be able to drive carefully and follow safe driving practices. Will need to get Driver Clearance to operate company vehicles.
* Should be able to take care of test equipment and test vehicle maintenance procedures
* Should be able to follow test route and instructions pertaining to drive testing and pedestrian testing
