Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior System Integration Engineer (MuleSoft) to spearhead the design and implementation of sophisticated data integration solutions. The Engineer’s role is pivotal in leading the strategic vision for data integration, incorporating advanced technologies like digital twin, Azure, MQTT, data streaming, and Snowflake to drive innovation and elevate the organization's data capabilities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):
- Design, develop and implement end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications, systems, and data sources.
- Develop and provide technical guidance to juniors in implementing APIs, leveraging MuleSoft's API-led connectivity approach Develop and RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Design scalable and resilient integration solutions and implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure the reliability and traceability of integrations.
- Define and drive security measures, including authentication and authorization, to safeguard data during continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Ensure performance tuning and optimization of MuleSoft applications to perform optimal throughput and responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, enterprise architects to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide roadmap for comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of MuleSoft applications, MQTT-based communication protocols for real-time, efficient data exchange between diverse IoT devices and MuleSoft.
- Provide and review technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, operational procedures, code standards, design reviews and solution architecture.
- Collaborate to implement monitoring systems for MuleSoft applications and provide support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Implement integrations, maintaining a synchronized representation to incorporate change management principles into the development lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Implement MuleSoft security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the integration processes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Contribute to C4E initiatives
Preferred Education: - MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1
Required Education: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience with advanced MuleSoft development and integration projects (Mule 4.3+)
- Experience with MuleSoft RPA
- Experience with Anypoint Studio and Anypoint code builder
- Advanced API development, design and data transformation experience using DataWeave
- Experience in production support of on-prem and cloud applications, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience developing MuleSoft CloudHub applications and integrating with various on-prem environments
- Experience using Kafka for data streaming, ensuring real-time data processing and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Anypoint Design Center
- Experience with Anypoint Exchange
- Experience with API Manager and Design
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with Git
- Experience in Linux
- Experience with Maven and Jenkins
- Experience with advanced MUnit integration testing.
- Experience with advanced DataWeave
- Experience unlocking data using real time data API and automate back-office manual operations using Mule RPA and AI
- Experience with 'Gen AI' technologies and methodologies
- Experience and strong expertise in Mule connectors and developing custom connectors
- Experience and Proficiency with scripting language, Java and/or Python
- Experience with Advanced Integration Patterns
