Job Title - IT Business Analyst

Duration - Long Term

Work Mode- Hybrid/ WFO (4 days onsite-1 Day remote per week)

Work Location- Irving, Tx

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. IT Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and produce documentation for large, complex technical projects. Will work on 3 – 4 projects simultaneously, starting and ending at various stages. Position requires innovation, problem solving, detail oriented, collaboration, and facilitation. Must be very strong in communication, collaboration, reporting, and requirements gathering.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):

• Produce comprehensive documentation and diagrams encompassing business processes, use cases, data mapping and other relevant aspects.
• Conduct gap and root cause analysis to identify underlying needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Utilize Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies to document solutions into comprehensive requirements and user stories.
• Facilitate requirements walk-throughs, design review meetings, and demos at all levels, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
• Apply excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  

Required Experience (5+ years):

• Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT project team environment.
• Experience with requirements gathering.
• Experience with BA lifecycle management and process flow management.
• Experience writing business functional requirements for technical projects.
• Experience using Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies.
• Experience writing comprehensive documentation and diagrams encompassing business processes, use cases, and data mapping.
• Technical documentation writing such as, Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirement Specification (FRS), Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Use Case Diagrams, and Data Mapping.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field.
