The Safety Manager will be responsible for managing the occupational safety and health programs for our clients. This includes analyzing work environments and designing programs to control, eliminate, and prevent diseases or injuries caused by chemical, biological, and physical agents. Responsibilities
Safety Manager role is to Ensure Safety in all roads projects is maintained and aligned with accordance to health and safety Management system and to ensure proper compliance for all projects.
- Review and ensure the implementation of Health & Safety Construction Plan and assure its Compliance in all Projects by established organizations, training & awareness, internal auditing programs allocating the required recourses, establishing required communications between Employees, Health & Safety committee & corporate and project Health & Safety Management.
- Experienced in Traffic Safety Management and roads safety in general.
- Management of efficient Health & Safety support in all project phases for conducting Health & Safety Reviews, Risk assessments.
- Assure management of competent, qualified experienced Health & Safety resources to support Health & Safety during construction phase.
- Assure that Contractor has a robust Health & Safety Construction Plan.
- Approve PMC contractor health & safety professionals.
- Manage systematic Health & Safety communication, leadership visibility and Interaction process with the project management team of projects through workshop sessions, and senior management walkthroughs to maintain and improve the Health & Safety compliance to the optimum standards.
- Ensure Safety in all projects is maintained and aligned with accordance to health and safety Management system and ensure proper compliance toward Health & Safety is in place from the contractor during the execution of projects
- Oversight of implementing the Contractors’ Health & Safety Construction plan.
- Lead and Manage the Health & Safety Management Team by advising, directing Health & Safety concerns, and implementing Health & Safety compliance monitoring systems & processes in compliance with Health & Safety Construction Plan.
Requirements
- 15 Years of experience in Health & Safety Management
- BSc degree in Engineering or related filed.
- ISO 45001-2018 Standard
- Other safety certifications
- Knowledge of Incident Investigation and Root cause analysis techniques.
- Leadership skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of all Safety and health standards, including construction, plant Safety, general industry, and industry standards.
- Experience in developing Safety training and compliance programs, including the ability to conduct and facilitate training as required
- Strong English Language Skills.
