We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor with 2-4 years of expertise in electric vehicles (EVs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their EVs are maintained and repaired efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries and repairs for electric vehicles.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services, including routine maintenance and repairs specific to EV systems.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow of the service department.
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding customer concerns and vehicle issues.
- Provide customers with detailed explanations of services performed, including maintenance and repair recommendations for EV components such as batteries, charging systems, and electric drivetrains.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on the latest electric vehicle technology and industry trends to provide informed advice to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle documentation.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure the availability of necessary components for EV repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive service advisor certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a service advisor, preferably in an automotive dealership or service center, with a focus on electric vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of electric vehicle technology and systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using dealership management software and other relevant tools.
- 2-4 Years of experience as a Service Advisor - Electric Vehicles is required
