About the role

Our Sales Team plays an integral role in supporting our mission to become the go-to video platform for organizations of all sizes. As part of this dynamic team, we are seeking a Sales Development Representative, ideally based in London, who is not just excited about our mission but is also deeply passionate about their craft and possesses a strong problem-solving ability.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the SDR Lead, Sales, Marketing, and the broader Sales Team. Your primary focus will be to generate opportunities  by creating introductions with key decision-makers in ideal client companies. This position offers the unique opportunity to directly contribute to the growth and success of our team, while developing your skills and expertise in a vibrant and supportive environment.

What your day looks like: 

  • Spot High-Potential Opportunities: Master the art of identifying businesses and markets ripe for VEED’s solutions. 
  • Lead Generation: Generate meetings with Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Decision Makers (senior manager/director-level leads) through phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach, maintaining an 80% attendance rate.
  • Qualify Like a Detective: Your mission? To understand your prospect’s needs and challenges, ensuring they're the perfect fit for what VEED offers.
  • Engage & Build Relationships: Use your communication prowess to engage prospects, delivering top-notch service. It's all about building relationships that pave the way for sales opportunities.
  • Team Up for Success: Collaborate closely with Account Executives. You're the vital link, setting up meetings and passing the baton for further engagement.
  • Be the Market Guru: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and the competitive landscape. Your insights will help in positioning VEED’s offerings smartly in the market.
  • Communication: Craft compelling, personalized cold and warm emails, effectively linking prospects' goals with VEED's value proposition. Articulate this value proposition clearly in both verbal and written forms.
  • Grow Your Skills: Embrace continuous learning. Sharpen your product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training and development, making you an even more valuable asset to the team.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement changes to the demand generation process, maintaining high accuracy in record-keeping.
  • CRM Management: Diligently record all meeting and lead updates in our Hubspot CRM.

You're Perfect for This Role If You:

  • Previous sales experience ideally in a SaaS B2B selling environment.
  • Skilled in using Hubspot, Sales Navigator, Gong and Lusha would be beneficial.
  • Are quick to absorb and apply coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Speaking additional languages such as French, German or Spanish is an advantage
  • Are exceptional at understanding customer context through effective questioning and listening.
  • Have a track record of top performance or significant achievements.
  • Are able to grasp complex concepts rapidly and communicate them simply.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, proactively pursuing the company mission with a high degree of energy and daily activity

Country Hiring Guidelines: At VEED we are remote, enabling teams and individuals to design their day and integrate work and life. We are currently hiring in 4 core hubs: the UK, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal and 2 additional hubs for sales and support roles only (USA for sales and the Philippines for support).
