What They Do: Our client provides an industry-preferred platform that gives the power to team dealers, custom apparel decorators, & corporate suppliers to launch online stores with confidence. With a heavy focus on faster site building, more accurate inventory management, consistent/automatic pricing, and on-time/accurate fulfillment, our client’s goal is to make building sites easy.


THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to establish and lead their marketing function, driving the development and execution of a comprehensive, results-oriented strategy that supports company growth and brand positioning. This role includes mentoring and managing a small team, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with business objectives and effectively engage customers.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and manage the marketing team in planning, developing, and executing innovative marketing strategies across digital, social media, and traditional channels to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition.

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive marketing plans that drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth through targeted campaigns.

  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform marketing direction, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing market share.

  • Monitor and adjust marketing activities based on performance metrics, utilizing A/B testing and data analysis to optimize effectiveness and ROI across channels.

  • Enhance brand presence through consistent messaging, creative campaigns, and compelling content that resonates with target audiences and builds brand loyalty.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to support the company’s growth objectives through integrated marketing efforts and initiatives.

  • Utilize marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) for campaign management, lead nurturing, CRM, and analytics to streamline operations and improve conversion rates.

  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize impact and drive measurable results.

  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using KPIs and analytics, translating insights into actionable recommendations for future strategies.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging innovation.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Over 7+ years of proven marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, demonstrating a strong ability to drive strategic initiatives and achieve measurable outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred to enhance strategic acumen.

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time, especially early in the role, to foster strong relationships and immerse in our client’s culture and brand.

  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Proficiency with CRM software like HubSpot or Salesforce, alongside a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, SEO, SEM, and best practices.

  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse marketing and creative teams, with a track record of successful campaign execution and team development.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers.
