Outcomes Expected
In this role reporting directly to the Director of Digital PR, you’ll work across a varied portfolio of clients to:
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential link-building opportunities, focusing on quality, relevance, and strategic value.
- Utilize various tools and methodologies to qualify prospects based on predetermined quality metrics and manual checks.
- Collect and organize contact details (emails, social media), and personalization data to ensure that outreach efforts are tailored and effective.
- Engage with clients or other team members to obtain approval for the final list of prospects, ensuring alignment with their goals and expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the outreach team to facilitate smooth transitions from prospecting to outreach.
- Maintain up-to-date records of prospecting activities and regularly report on progress to both the team and management.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and changes in SEO, link-building strategies, and competitor activities.

Prior Success and Qualifications
- Proven experience in link-building.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify valuable prospects in various niches and industries.
- Familiarity with SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) for prospecting and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of the prospecting process.
- Stable working environment (laptop/computer), and a fast and reliable internet connection to ensure consistent availability and reliability.
- Working effectively in fully remote-first or hybrid environments
