Job Descriptions:

  • Manage MySQL, PostgreSQL and other non-relational database administrations through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
  • Manage cloud-based database servers and processes, including regular maintenance and monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Support product development teams for database designs and implementations, including a review of system architecture, contributing to improving future architecture aiming for stability, cost-efficiency, and high levels of performance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields. 
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with production of MySQL and PostgreSQL database operations. 
  • Familiar with performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring, troubleshooting, and database performance monitoring tools 
  • Familiar with cloud technology (e.g. Ali-Cloud, AWS-RDS /GCP-CloudSQL)
  • Familiar with scripting languages (at least one of Shell or Python). 
  • Familiar with Linux OS and good system troubleshooting skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in critical situations under pressure as well as in day-to-day operations. 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
