The Krazy Coupon Lady (KCL) is a female-founder-owned publisher on a mission to be a shopping non-negotiable, unapologetically helping our readers maximize their money, and seize the deal. Our team of shopping experts curates and hand-tests nearly a thousand deals per week, so there is always something new to discover each time you visit our website, app, and your inbox.

With the growth KCL is experiencing, we’re in need of a Product Manager. You will be trusted with the growth and development of KCL’s Owned & Operated website and content management system.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, product and quality assurance team members to ensure alignment on product requirements, resolve any blockers, and deliver projects on time after it has been thoroughly tested.
  • Execute roadmap items that contribute to KCL’s mission and KPIs in a meaningful way by working with cross functional teams and stakeholders at KCL to ideate, scope, document, prioritize, and deliver delightful features and products for our internal and external users.
  • Write thorough product requirement documents and break down a project into actionable tickets for engineering and design.
  • Get to know KCL’s product offerings and data beyond a surface level in order to make informed product decisions and prioritizations.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our customers' and internal stakeholders' needs, use cases, and challenges, and leverage that insight to effectively prioritize, design, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with the data team to expand and maintain our data insights.
  • Use tools such as Jira to keep our work organized and transparent to other teams and stakeholders alike.
  • Ensure clear communication of project statuses and dependencies among teams and stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment with deadlines.
  • Contribute positive changes to our team culture, workflow and processes.

About you:

  • Product Experience: You have 3+ years of hands-on experience working as a product manager with a track record of taking a project from conception to completion.
  • People Person: You approach people and products with empathy. You can read a room and tailor your project proposals to address stakeholders with different concerns. You assume positive intent when interacting with others.
  • Business Savvy: You have a business mindset. You know how to make product decisions that make a meaningful impact on the bottom line.
  • Accomplished Executor: You don’t sit back and wait for direction. When you see a need, you take the initiative to get things in motion. You are highly organized and reliable. You come up with solutions, collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders and drive towards a resolution.
  • Strategic Mindset: You aren’t interested in going through a checklist each day and calling it quits. Sure details and mundane tasks come with the territory but you’re also a big picture, strategic thinker. You’re able to see potential risks and rewards and create innovative plans to meet them head-on.
  • Technical expertise: You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into a highly technical piece of documentation. You are naturally curious about new technology and keep up with industry trends. You are able to hold your own in highly technical discussions.
  • An Expert in Feedback: You understand the importance of giving and receiving thoughtful, timely, specific, and actionable feedback.

Physical Requirements

  • Use of Fingers: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other team members accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
  • Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
