THE ROLE
The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company as a core member of the leadership team. This leader will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that fuels the company’s ambitious growth goals. The ideal candidate is both a strategic visionary and a hands-on executor, someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to building a culture of openness, inclusivity, and shared success.
This role will encompass all facets of marketing, including digital content creation, product marketing, lead generation, and customer engagement. This individual will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals and resonate with key stakeholders in law enforcement, emergency services, and related industries.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's business goals, emphasizing digital marketing and product-led growth.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, ensuring team members are aligned with the company’s culture and values.
Manage Marketing Operations: Oversee day-to-day marketing activities, including content creation, campaign management, and collaboration with external partners and consultants.
Lead Generation & Campaign Management: Drive inbound lead generation programs and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., digital media, social media, webinars) to ensure a consistent and high-quality sales funnel.
Brand & Content Management: Enhance the company’s brand presence through consistent messaging, creative campaigns, and high-quality content that engages and educates target audiences.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with sales teams to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. Provide regular updates to leadership on marketing efforts and KPIs.
CRM Management: Oversee the implementation and utilization of the CRM (HubSpot) for marketing automation, lead scoring, and campaign management, ensuring the tool is leveraged fully to drive marketing success.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
6+ Years of Marketing Experience: Proven track record in leading and managing marketing operations within the B2B SaaS industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
B2B/B2G marketing: Preferably within law enforcement, firefighting, emergency services, or public safety-related industries.
Digital Marketing: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, paid social, and content marketing.
Experience with HubSpot: Proficient in using HubSpot for marketing automation, email campaigns, and lead scoring.
Collaborative Leadership: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive working relationships and build a cohesive, high-performing team
