This position is a hybrid role working out of either our Houston or Austin offices.

What You'll Do

As a Portfolio Manager, you'll be overall responsible for successful project deliveries.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of talented Project Managers, fostering their growth and development to unleash their full potential.
Overseeing a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving profitability, scope management, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborating closely with project managers and the revenue team to address any challenges, mitigate risks, and maintain project momentum.
Serving as the primary point of contact for escalations, spearheading discussions to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Identifying improvement opportunities across the portfolio and championing initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
Run and drive strategic initiatives
Review and approval of AMER scope proposals
Working with project managers to understand and secure their resourcing needs

Who You Are

Minimum 7 yrs of relevant experience, ideally up to 10 yrs, in customer-facing roles with expertise in software customer success, project delivery, and/or management consulting
2+ years of experience in Energy or Manufacturing is required
Strong understanding of SaaS is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or similar. Relevant work experience will be considered as compensation to education.
The candidate should be familiar with agile methodologies and/or experienced in program management
You should have a proven track record of managing complex stakeholder landscapes involving customers, end-users, internal teams, and preferably external partners.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to build lasting relationships.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to identify and manage risks and issues
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Portfolio Manager’s - Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Enhance professional growth of PMs through coaching and feedback sessions.
Ensure successful project deliveries, exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
Maintain service margins and track value and user adoption across the project portfolio where applicable.
Foster strong partnerships in project delivery and drive improvement initiatives.
Conduct thorough SoW reviews to identify and mitigate risks upfront.
Plan and support training for Project managers.
