The Business Development Manager for Queensland plays a pivotal role in Utemaster's expansion into the Queensland market. This position involves establishing and cultivating new business through proactive sales efforts, with a focus on automotive dealerships. 

The successful candidate will be articulate and polished in presentation, embodying energy and empathy in their interactions. Operating autonomously, they will drive the sales function to achieve sustainable growth, demonstrating tenacity as a new business hunter while also nurturing existing relationships with care and diligence. Utemaster Australia designs, manufactures, and distributes market-leading ute accessories nationwide. Their products, available through car dealers and 4x4 stores, come with a 3-year warranty through an extensive network. 

Dedicated to helping people get things done and enjoy life's adventures, Utemaster focuses on reducing business running costs and maximizing productive hours. Their range ensures users spend less time searching for and loading gear, while maintaining an attractive and professional appearance for their utilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Secure new business by engaging with automotive dealerships and resellers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers and resellers in the Queensland territory.
  • Conduct a minimum of three days per week on the road, with the remaining time working from home office.
  • Utilise Netsuite CRM to manage customer relationships and sales activities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on Utemaster products and services.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote Utemaster products.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Australian Sales Manager.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Participate in a comprehensive onboarding process, including training on products, internal systems, and company processes.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with Netsuite CRM is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
