Safety Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of workers and adherence to safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and protocols
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and hazard identification
• Investigate incidents, accidents or near-misses to determine the root cause and recommend corrective actions
• Train and educate employees and contractors on safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws and regulations
• Continuously monitor and evaluate safety programs to identify areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate records and easily accessible safety documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• At least 8+ years of experience in HSE field
• Strong knowledge of safety laws, regulations and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel as needed

Certifications: NEBOSH/IOSH/Equivalent certification is mandatory.
