PHP Developer

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our remote team in Croatia.

In this role, you will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-designed, and scalable PHP code.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Develop and deploy new features to enhance applications and related tools as necessary.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Follow industry best practices for coding, security, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) is a plus.
• Familiarity with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of web security principles and performance optimization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
