Internships @ Wealthsimple
At Wealthsimple, we offer 4 to 8-month internships that are open to co-op and non-co-op students, and recent grads. During your remote-first internship, you will be able to contribute to projects that are changing the landscape of financial services for Canadians. You will be on a team that supports your growth and provides mentorship while also connecting to the broader Wealthsimple community! 

Eligibility
✔ Currently enrolled as a student at a Canadian post-secondary institution or technical bootcamp
✔ New graduates - Within 6 months of your graduation date
✔ Available to work full-time hours
✔ Residing in Canada

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Employee Experience - Be the face of the People team for employee questions about our practices, policies, benefits, learning, and other employee programs and events!
  • Employee Lifecycle - Assist in employee administration such as onboarding coordination, workplace operations and reporting 
  • Projects - Ad-hoc support for our exciting 2025 initiatives, based on your skills and interests!

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is comfortable working with ambiguity and working autonomously to find solutions and suggest/execute process improvements
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of establishing strong partnerships across teams 
  • Detail Oriented - You have a keen eye for detail and ability to identify and solve problems independently. You follow any action through from start to finish!
  • Takes initiative - You have strong personal accountability for high quality work, and actively find opportunities for improvement
