Senior Technical Analyst

Enterprise Knowledge (EK) is hiring for a full-time Senior Technical Analyst to join our growing Knowledge & Data Services Sector. As a member of this team, you will support dynamic and fast-paced data and semantic solutions for a diverse array of commercial and federal clients, offering you the opportunity to learn rapidly and grow exponentially. The technical analyst will be part of a team working on Enterprise AI and semantic solutions to complex problems, developing approaches to organize and unify information, and leveraging inference to make sense of large quantities of data, answering practical questions, and uncovering unexpected connections. You will get the chance to work in various industries, supporting our clients in the fields of supply chain/logistics, environmental/ESG, research labs, construction/civil engineering, and more.

This Hybrid role requires that you live within a comfortable commutable distance of our Arlington office and that you are willing to be on-site a few days a week.

Responsibilities:

Analytical

• Assess client needs and develop use cases and solution requirements to meet their needs
• Analyze content and data sources to discover the core components and relationships for a given business domain, and their integrations
• Analyze vendor tool offerings and advise clients on data management tool selection and configuration

Technical

• Assist with model design and supporting documentation of semantic models, such as enterprise ontologies, using semantic standards
• Analyze client content and/or systems using data analysis and data mapping techniques
• Support the implementation of semantic tools, such as taxonomy/ontology management tools, graph databases/triple stores, etc
• Support data pipeline development and implementation
• Support the optimization of client systems and tools including databases and dashboards

Communication

• Support project manager in managing a project timeline and ensuring the on-time submission of client deliverables
• Support the preparation and facilitation of client meetings, workshops, and focus groups with technical and non-technical audiences
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2-5 years of experience serving as a technical analyst, systems analyst, business analyst, systems engineer, developer, data engineer, or similar technical discipline in current or prior role(s)
• Experience using visual diagramming tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io).
• Basic understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies
• Basic understanding of enterprise data and content management, systems, structures, and processes
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and visual).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Comfort with serving in a client-facing role and presenting on camera or in person to internal and external stakeholders
• Aptitude to quickly learn new skills and abilities on-the-job
• Comfort with navigating ambiguity and client needs that rapidly evolve on a weekly basis
• Understanding of and passion for logic (e.g., logic puzzles, linguistic and grammar rules, mathematical proofs, set theory, formal logic, etc.)

EK considers a broad range of factors in considering employee salary including a candidate’s skills, experience, education, certifications, past successes, and qualifications. A range for a starting pay for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 with most candidates likely to fall in the lower half. This range does not guarantee a specific salary and may be adjusted based on the needs of the company and the candidate’s qualifications.
