Vita Green is looking for a driven and experienced Supply Chain Director, with a focus on Procurement and Logistics, to join their team.
As the Supply Chain Director, the ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all activities related to procurement, logistics, and inventory control. The successful applicant will have excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills and will be instrumental in driving the company's continued growth as a top pharmaceutical company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain management strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices to meet organizational goals.
- Lead the procurement process, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.
- Oversee inventory control procedures, including management of stock levels, lead times, and safety stock.
- Plan and implement logistics processes, including shipping, receiving, and distribution of products.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international laws, regulations, and standards related to procurement, logistics, and inventory control operations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative supply chain solutions that reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to executive leadership, including presenting findings and recommendations to support key business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and other supply chain management tools.
- Knowledge of local and international regulations related to procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
