At the end of 2023 we finished construction of our first solar park and windfarm, which are now exporting power.</p><p>To have the biggest impact, we target markets that are underserved by capital and renewable expertise, by a team with a long history in successful development and construction of major renewable projects.<br></p><p>DRI is now seeking a talented and experienced Grid Connection Manager to join our team in Warsaw as a Grid Connection Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our renewable energy projects, focusing on grid integration and ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our assets within the electrical grid.</p><p><strong>What you will do</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct technical analysis and assessments of grid connection requirements for renewable energy projects.</li><li>Manage the high/medium voltage connection process for SPP/WPP/BESS in alignment with the polish Grid Code.</li><li>Coordinate testing activities as mandated by the Polish grid Code.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and grid operators to facilitate grid connection processes.</li><li>Design grid integration solutions, including connection layouts, protection schemes, and grid code compliance strategies.</li><li>Perform studies and simulations to assess grid stability, power quality, and grid impact assessments.</li><li>Coordinate grid connection agreements, permits, and regulatory approvals with relevant authorities and stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor grid performance and analyze grid-related issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.</li><li>Provide technical support during project development, construction, and commissioning phases.</li><li>Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies related to grid integration and renewable energy.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective grid integration solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field.</li><li>At least 3 Proven experience in grid integration, electrical design, or power systems engineering, preferably in the renewable energy sector.</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical grid systems, grid codes, and grid connection requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in relevant software tools for grid analysis and simulation (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT, PSCAD).</li><li>Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, such as wind, solar, and energy storage systems.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex grid-related issues.</li><li>Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Fluency in English and Polish, other languages are a plus.</li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities.</li><li>Show resilience to stress and the ability to handle multitasking effectively.</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.</li><li>A collaborative and inclusive work environment.</li><li>Supportive and dynamic company culture.</li><li>Exciting and challenging projects.</li><li>Beautiful offices in Warsaw</li></ul><p>At DRI, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
