As an Agri PV Manager, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and optimization of agrivoltaic systems, integrating solar photovoltaic (PV) technology with agricultural practices to maximize land use efficiency and sustainable energy production.</p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul> <li>Manage the design and development of agrivoltaic systems, integrating solar PV arrays with agricultural activities such as crop cultivation, livestock grazing, or aquaculture.</li> <li>Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to identify suitable locations for agrivoltaic installations, considering factors such as soil quality, crop selection, solar irradiance, and land availability.</li> <li>Collaborate with agronomists, farmers, and local stakeholders to assess agrivoltaic potential, address concerns, and develop tailored solutions that optimize land use and agricultural productivity.</li> <li>Support the design of PV system layouts, considering shading effects, crop spacing, irrigation requirements, and compatibility with existing farming practices.</li> <li>Provide technical expertise and guidance on agrivoltaic system components, including solar panels, mounting structures, irrigation systems, and monitoring equipment.</li> <li>Support project development activities, including permitting, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement in relation to the agri</li> <li>Monitor agrivoltaic system performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.</li> <li>Conduct research and stay updated on advancements in agrivoltaic technology, agronomy, and sustainable agriculture practices.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance knowledge sharing and best practices in agrivoltaics.</li> <li>Contribute to the development of case studies, reports, and publications to showcase the benefits and potential of agrivoltaic systems.</li></ul><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy, preferably related to renewable energy industry.</li> <li>At least 2 years of proven experience in agrivoltaic systems design, implementation, or research, preferably in the renewable energy or agriculture sector.</li> <li>Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop management, soil science, and ecosystem dynamics.</li> <li>Familiarity with solar PV technology, system design principles, and electrical components.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical requirements with agricultural considerations.</li> <li>Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Fluency in English and Italian, other languages are a plus.</li> <li>Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and the intersection of agriculture and technology.</li> <li>Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits, meetings, and project-related activities.</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development.</li><li>A collaborative and inclusive work environment.</li><li>Supportive and dynamic company culture.</li><li>Exciting and challenging projects.</li></ul><p>At DRI, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
