Intern Architect

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program required

·        Enrollment in the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP) preferred

·        Strong organizational and communication skills

·        Self-motivated team player with attention to detail

·        Excellent Design skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Ability to perform job duties by following WDB’s core values (Reliability, Courage, Teamwork, Determination, and Humility)

·        Ability to research and develop specific design and technical aspects of an assigned project, under the supervision of the Senior Architect

·        Computer modeling, rendering, and other production activities as assigned by the Senior Architect 

·        Ability to self-check all work product according to established departmental procedures prior to submitting for review by the Senior Architect

·        Implementing a licensure plan to be tracked during formal review

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

·        Proficiency with Autodesk Revit required

·        Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

·        Basic knowledge of Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Creative Suite required

·        Ability to master new programs quickly as implemented (e.g., ProCore)
