We are seeking a Provider Support Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for Tier 2 provider support for payment and provider portal inquiries via outbound/inbound phone calls and e-mails to support activities across all Nomi financial products and services. You will also be responsible for reviewing and understanding the data used for all support activities.

How you will make an impact

  • Assist providers in navigating through the portal to complete enrollment
  • Answer questions regarding the Nomi payment enrollment process
  • Track all call activity via Nomi service tools
  • Open support tickets as needed via the Nomi platform
  • Create and track data via Excel workbooks as needed
  • Support and facilitate training webinars as needed
  • Encourage engagement and adoption of Nomi payment methods and services as required based on client contractual standards and business needs (i.e., EFT enrollment, Virtual Card)
  • Communicate with providers via e-mail and phone calls to support enrollment activities
  • Inform providers of the payer relationship with Nomi
  • Explain the benefit and value of utilizing the Nomi Health provider platform for applicable services, including Core payments, Member Payments, and Patient Financial Engagement Services

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of related call center/customer service experience
  • Strong financial services or healthcare services (insurance) experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Active listening skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to ask probing questions and diffuse tense situations
  • Ability to navigate various computer systems•Problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and accountability
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone voice
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with computers, especially CRM and JIRA applications
  • Motivated, energetic, and driven work ethic
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to, MS Word, MS
  • Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Ability to train and present material
