Job Title: Application Specialist I
Client: Sanofi
Job Location: Swiftwater, PA
Duration 12 Months

Duties:
Act as the US-area support for application Specifically: Act as the US representative of the global support team providing close customer support on usage of the application. Ensure Business Continuity for US users: operational incidents resolution in coordination with infrastructure teams and Level 2 support teams Contribute to L3 global support activities : o Investigation on data issues and bugs o Test the bug fixes and enhancement implementations o Prioritize the enhancement requests from local users and communicate them to the global team to have them added in the application roadmap o Contribute to global communication events o Contribute to global support initiatives according to the priorities Create Business Objects reports for program teams and scientific support teams according to their needs and requests. Train and coach scientists on the usage of the application. Promote the awareness of the application and services as a resource/tool to US end users. Act as the regional representative of the global support team providing close customer support on usage of the application. Contribute to the global maintenance and support of the global application. Includes management of corrective maintenance and incidents, functional enhancements (through change requests), and representing their users in global Solution Team meetings. Contribute to the same activities at other sites on an as-needed basis. Participate in training and coaching of end users on the usage of the application. Experience: 0 to 3 years.
Skills:

This is a junior application and project support position. The Information Solutions Industrial Application Support Specialist will support manufacturing related information technology based systems. The manufacturing related information technology based systems are Process Control Systems, Automated Equipment, Building Automation Systems and related Manufacturing IT systems.
Prior experience working in a FDA Regulated environment is a huge plus for this position and candidates with working knowledge of GMPs are preferred.
The candidate must be a self-starter and be able work independently without constant supervision. Strong troubleshooting skills are important.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server are a plus.
You must be customer oriented and be able to show a high level of professionalism. You must be able to determine the root cause of the issue, determine a fix for the problem, and follow the task to completion. You will work under the direction of senior support engineers but you must have the willingness to learn a new skill and be able to apply the knowledge complete the task.
Education:
The ideal candidate will have an associates degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering or a related field of study.
A junior level automation engineer will also be good fit for this position.
