TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials surveys and air monitoring services for various clients located in the Midwest region.
- Write client reports that convey sound professional methodology, conclusions and recommendations.
- Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies including high-level public and/or private contacts.
- Performs other duties in direct relationship to the department operations.
Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience:- A minimum of a two-year college degree, preferably in a related field.
- Experience in surveying sites for asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials, air monitoring, and/or mold investigations
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload
- Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of public and private entities.
- Asbestos and Lead certifications highly desired
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%
