Summary
This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly-growing MSAT group that will work to support the development of tMab products within the Sanofi network. We are seeking an energetic laboratory coordinator that is individually motivated but enjoys working as part of a team. This individual will have the opportunity to have early and significant impact in this growing group.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Submits lab equipment and lab supplies procurement requests and tracks invoices
Oversees receipt and installation of lab equipment
Coordinates group instrument/equipment trainings with vendors.
Oversees maintenance and qualification of laboratory instruments.
Perform department administrative duties as needed
Operates simple lab equipment and performs required in-house performance qualification (PQ).
Acts as lab liaison to Metrology department ensuring that equipment are calibrated in a timely manner. Provides support and maintenance for the pipette calibration program.
Acts as lab liaison to Facilities department to provide support to equipment requiring facilities attention
Acts as a lab liaison to Information Services department to provide support to equipment requiring IS involvement
Performs routine laboratory activities i.e., Operation of support equipment (autoclaves, glass washers, pH meters, balances). Buffer/media prep, bioreactor assembly, safety check, etc. and generate procedures.
Responsible for monitoring expiry dates of chemicals/reagents and ensuring that all analysts are in compliance with current systems in place for maintenance of reagents/chemicals.
Oversees receipt of internal samples for testing
Organizes department staff training, i.e. Health and Safety
Establishes and maintains equipment log-books as needed
Scope:
Demonstrated ability in the application of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position following established practices and procedures.
Receives general instructions on routine assignments and works under supervision.
Receives detailed instructions on new work, which is closely supervised and reviewed.
Skills:Operation of simple lab equipment; familiar with GMP laboratory controls is a plus, but not mandatory.
MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS ACCESS
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and experience working with diverse teams.
Strong organization skills; strategic thinking and working independently with minor supervision.
Proven leadership and strong communication skills
Education:High School and 1 3 years of related experience is required. Bachelor s degree is preferred.
