Technical Ops Lead:

What you'll be doing:
• Leading the technical operations teams across Client's world class technology stack
• Ensuring compliance to SLA by ensuring all platforms are monitored, secure, fully functional and available 24/7 – 365
• Build and manage the team responsible for TechOps, incident & release management
• You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable with multiple stakeholders, including the engineering team, the product team and the senior leadership team.
• You are comfortable providing mentorship and helping build career goals for your TechOps teams.
• Have a good understanding of working in an agile delivery environment, ITIL, incident & release management, and improvements in the TechOps practice and continuous delivery
• Define and implement appropriate IT, data protection and security policies, and ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Give and solicit feedback from others to increase platform quality
What you should have:
• 5+ years in a lead TechOps role with preferred university degree in IT or equivalent
• A passion for Operations, ensuring things are done right so that your platforms perform and function at a very high standard
• Proactive & accountable, taking charge during incidents, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders with fast resolution and thorough root cause analysis.
• Prior experience with Cloud based systems
• Financial Services experience is great but not essential.
• Knowledge and previous experience of Jira, New Relic, Salesforce, Heroku, Data Warehousing, GitHub, Java script/Python based systems with any general knowledge of RESTful API whilst not essential is advantageous.
• An overwhelmingly positive attitude, with strong communication, presentation and listening skills
