Transportation Supervisor

As a Transportation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation operations of the company. You will be tasked with ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods and products, while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining high-quality service standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement transportation plans, schedules, and routes to support the club's activities and operations, including matches, training sessions, events, and travel requirements.

- Coordinate the allocation and assignment of vehicles, drivers, and resources to meet transportation needs and ensure optimal utilization of assets.

- Supervise transportation staff, including drivers, mechanics (if any), and support personnel, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery and performance.

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations, performance standards, and maintenance schedules.

- Manage transportation budgets, forecasts, and expenditures, monitoring costs and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with financial goals and objectives.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, licensing, and insurance regulations governing transportation operations, including vehicle registration, driver licensing, and insurance coverage.

-          Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including coaching staff, administrative personnel, and other departments, to address transportation needs, requests, and concerns.

- Liaise with external stakeholders, including transportation providers, suppliers, vendors, regulatory agencies, and community partners, to facilitate transportation services and resolve issues.

-  Implement and enforce health, safety, and security policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of passengers, drivers, and assets during transportation operations.

-  Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to transportation activities, including vehicle logs, trip records, maintenance records, and incident reports.

Requirements

-          Bachelor's degree in transportation management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.

-          Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in a sports or entertainment venue setting.

-          Strong knowledge of transportation operations, regulations, safety standards, and best practices.

-          Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

-          Proficiency in transportation management software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

-          Valid driver's license.

-          Strong leadership abilities, decision-making skills, and problem-solving capabilities.

-          Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the club's schedule.
