Honeybee Robotics is looking for a Mechanical Engineer IV to design and build revolutionary motion control and actuation systems for the most thrilling aerospace applications!
Responsibilities:
- Execute high reliability mechanical design and analysis for long life space applications.
- Design mechanical systems including bearings, gears, motors, and rotating mechanisms.
- Oversee, support, and troubleshoot assembly of engineering, qualification, and production hardware.
- Analyze client specifications and develop responsive solutions supported by engineering analysis and or test data.
- Generate design documentation and vendor specifications.
- Support assembly and test including environmental testing, shock, vibration and thermal.
- Proactively identify roadblocks to technical progress and take steps to mitigate/avoid.
- Review test data and recommend changes to products and/or processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience.
- Proficient with a variety of computer aided design & analysis.
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
- Previous aerospace industry experience is a plus.
