Professional Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patients' progress and response to interventions
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic care
• Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as required

Requirements

• Professional Nurse qualification
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council
• Prior experience as a Professional Nurse in Addiction and Psychiatric background
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
