<p>Our client is seeking a highly capable General Manager to oversee the daily operations of an innovative online payments service platform. This role is suited to a professional with a strong background in managing digital platforms, eCommerce services, or online banking / Fintech environments. The General Manager will play a crucial role in steering the company’s operations while working closely with the leadership team to optimize performance and support strategic growth. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring smooth, efficient, and scalable processes.</li><li>Manage and improve online service offerings, ensuring optimal user experience and alignment with business objectives.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine operations and enhance service delivery.</li><li>Monitor and manage key business metrics, driving performance improvements across departments.</li><li>Report directly to the board and provide insights and updates on business progress and challenges.</li><li>Evaluate and implement strategies for growth, ensuring that the company remains competitive within its sector.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and service providers.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, working closely with the finance and legal teams.</li><li>Optionally transition into a director-level role, providing the ability to sign off on key decisions and lead the company in a more strategic capacity.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience managing operations in an online service provider, eCommerce platform, or online banking / Fintech environment.</li><li>Strong business acumen, with the ability to oversee operations while driving growth and innovation.</li><li>Hands-on experience managing online platforms, with a focus on delivering excellent service and optimizing performance.</li><li>Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and driving collective success.</li><li>Financial and regulatory awareness, particularly in overseeing budgets, forecasts, and compliance.</li><li>Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.</li><li>Resides in or willing to relocate to the Isle of Man.</li><li>Potential to grow into a director-level role, although this is not a mandatory requirement.</li></ul> •
