As a Sr. Sales Operations Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of our sales operations. Leveraging your expertise in data analysis, policy compliance, and sales enablement, you will be a valuable resource for our Commercial and Finance teams.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess creative problem-solving abilities. You should be a self proclaimed “data nerd” and be proficient in all aspects of Salesforce. Bonus if you have experience with Netsuite, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or other sales and financial tools.
You should possess good communication and project management skills. You should love collaborating with others, but also appreciate focused work time. You should be able to communicate business insights, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and precise manner. You must be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, have a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and have the foresight to anticipate business needs.
The successful candidate must be able to roll-up their sleeves, and learn the intricacies of the Crisp business.To do this effectively, the Sr. Sales Operations Support Analyst should have a deep understanding of B2B sales organizations and sales operations in order to surface information and insights, assertively work with a sales team, and drive the orchestration required to make optimal business decisions.
Core Responsibilities
Own the Opportunity Process and Deal Desk Validations:
- Operate deal desk validations on a daily basis working with Sales and Finance. You will work directly with the sales team on ensuring contracts and opportunities are generated according to compliance guidelines.
- You will be responsible for flagging missing requirements in both the contract and Salesforce.
- You will be responsible for the accuracy of deals flowing from Sales to our Finance team.
Sales Ops:
- You must have experience interfacing with a sales organization on a daily basis.
- You must be highly proficient in Salesforce. Bonus if you have Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certifications. Performing data management tasks, including data imports, deduplication, and ongoing data maintenance.
- You will be responsible for providing new user training in our commercial tech stack (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, etc.).
- Serve as a subject matter expert on both support and ongoing enablement in our tools.
- Create end-user documentation guides on processes and procedures in our systems.
Analytics:
- You must be able to generate customized reports and dashboards in Salesforce to produce business insights for Sales and Finance leadership.
- You must have the ability to manipulate and manage large data projects in Excel.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting requests for the sales, marketing, and finance departments.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive sales performance.
- Track, and report on key sales performance metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, win/loss analysis, and sales rep productivity.
- Support sales forecasting and planning processes by providing accurate and timely data analysis and insights.
Required Skills (systems, tools, etc):
- Salesforce.
- Excel (Intermediate to Advanced).
- Experience managing and operating Desk Deal validations interacting with a sales and finance team.
- Project Management experience.
- Requires a service-oriented mentality with a high sense of ownership of problems and projects.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Netsuite, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Vitally, or any other commercial or finance tools.
- Salesforce certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience integrating business systems through mergers and acquisitions.
- Proficient in BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
Education and Prior Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales operations or analytical role.
- Industry Knowledge: 3+ years’ experience in a business-to-business (B2B) sales organization in a remote setting.
- Degree in Business Analytics, Administration, or Finance preferred.
