Node.js Developer
Location: Remote

Position Summary:
The candidate will focus on the development, optimization, and stability of various Node JS and API-driven applications. The resource will focus on developing AWS API Gateway and Lambda integrations with various NBA internal and external applications. The candidate should be an expert in their field and help lead the team strategically in achieving our goals.
Major Responsibilities:

Provide Node JS development expertise for AWS Lambda
Build API integrations with AWS Lambda functions using API Gateway
Build and maintain environment diagrams and documentation
Work closely with the Digital Product Development team on releases and deployments
Provide after-hours and weekend support for production systems

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Minimum 4 years of experience handling Production-level software deployments, monitoring, and support
Minimum 2 years professional Node JS development experience with demonstrated proficiency
Strong Experience with Amazon Web Services, including API Gateway and Lambda
Knowledge of REST API design and development best practices
Front-end development utilizing HTML, Javascript (Angular, React, etc.) and CSS (desired, not required)
TypeScript experience strongly desired

Educational Background Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
