Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assists in the planning, coordinating and supervision of on-site functions including, but not limited to, the following: scheduling, engineering, material control, procurement, safety and provide day to day support to project foremen, superintendents as needed.
  • Maintains all records including Jobsite master schedule, document control log, change order log, time keeping, and field project files.
  • Provides technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
  • Initiates, documents, and assists in extra work for estimating and issuance of change orders.
  • Assists in project safety and implement of zero injury program.
  • Assists in the managing and coordination of subcontractors, labor relations, and customer interface.
  • Attends project meetings as directed by project manager.
  • Assures that minutes and notes are maintained, distributed and backed- up of all meetings on-site with owner, other contractors, subcontractors, etc.
  • Maintains drawings records in an orderly fashion, maintains a drawing log and ensuring that working copies are properly updated and old versions are voided.
  • Responsible for weekly job progress reporting accurate quantities installed and labor hours performed timely for job costing purposes.
  • Initiates purchase orders. Rent and manage equipment procurement.
  • Performs additional duties per supervisor's direction.
Job Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree from four year college or university in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Primavera Scheduling software;
  • MS Excel and MS Word.Must be available to travel to sites not yet determined for the duration of a given project.
  • Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of personalities.
Required experience:
  • Construction Mangement: 1 year
