Sr. Budget Analyst

TechOp Solutions is seeking a  detail-oriented and experienced Budget Analyst with a strong background in government budgeting and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of federal Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes, regulations, and guidelines. This role involves preparing and analyzing budget reports, forecasting financial needs, and ensuring compliance with government policies and regulations. 

Must Reside in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia)

Duties:

• Spend and Execution Plan Development 

• Financial Analysis and Reporting 

• Budget/Cost Preparation and Management  

• Collaboration and Communication  

• Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization 

• Other duties, as assigned 

Requirements

• BA/BS + 12 years' experience with 4 years in management including 4 years in management experience in commercial/government administration and Federal budget management.  Experience in planning, budgeting, and administrative management, including funds management, budget/cost data preparation, and financial analysis.
• Experience in budget/cost data preparation and financial analysis

• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, QuickBooks) 

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills 

• Must be eligible for a security Clearnce

• Reside in the National Capital Region
