Job title: Committe Services Administrator
Contract type: Full time (35 hours per week), 12 month fixed term contract.

Working arrangements: 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm. Hybrid working - you will be required to work in the office a minimum of 6 days per month.
We are seeking to appoint a motivated, organised and experienced committee services administrator to join the Committee Services Team for the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK. This position is for 12 months maternity leave cover.
The successful candidate will work in a small, highly productive team responsible for the management of JRCPTB Committees and Exam boards. Supporting 29 medical specialties (SACs), 3 medical subspecialties, and 13 examining boards: MRCP(UK) Part 1 and Part 2 Written, and 11 SCEs. In total, the role oversees over 100 board and committee meetings per year.
The post-holder will use their excellent management and communication skills to ensure that our key clinical stakeholders are engaged and that key issues affecting specialties are appropriately considered within the development of future policy, consultation responses and training programmes. In addition they will also work closely with the Curriculum and Assessment team to ensure that the design and implementation of curricula are addressed.
The primary duties involve providing excellent management and administrative support to a range of allocated committees in their core functions. The post holder will ensure the effective flow of information between the committees and the department.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills, show great attention to detail and be able to synthesize detailed, complex information and discussions in order to identify key issues and write high quality minutes and reports. Experience in managing multiple meetings and activities as well as problem solving, and decision making is essential. The candidate will be able to prepare agendas and meeting papers to agreed timelines.
