Our client is a company recognized for its technological innovation serving progress in therapies. They offer a stimulating environment where your skills and expertise will be a real asset for the activities and projects they develop. A position is open at their site in the Paris region.

In close interaction with various scientific departments, their In Vivo Translational Pharmacology Unit is seeking a Study Director who will be responsible for:

  • Managing external client studies as entrusted by the head of the in vivo study unit
  • Coordinating with other laboratory teams to ensure scientific quality and compliant execution of studies on time and within budget
  • Participating in cross-functional projects and/or internal research programs
  • Acting as a scientific expert in their field of activity and contributing to the development of the company's scientific expertise

Reporting directly to the Head of the In Vivo Study Unit, the successful candidate will be responsible for study design, proper execution, data processing and analysis, and production of reports for assigned studies.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in immunology, inflammation, or another related field
  • Ideally, experience in a similar position within a CRO or pharmaceutical company
  • Strong background in oncology, DMPK and/or inflammation
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including data analysis software
  • Experience in managing preclinical studies, preferably in vivo
  • Knowledge of GLP regulations and other relevant industry standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in writing scientific reports and study protocols
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with animal handling and in vivo techniques is a plus

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work in a team, rigor, and strong organizational skills to manage entrusted work effectively.

On-site presence is expected 3-4 days per week.
