Position Name: Senior Electrical Designer
Qualification:BE in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Experience: 6to 12years
Location: Bangalore
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:

Creation of electrical schematics, Cable and Harness designs, system interconnects based on requirements received from cross-disciplinary teams
Create and release engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process
Selection of OEM components and materials for Cable design with minimum guidance
Demonstrate ability to deliver results while working on multiple Projects/Tasks simultaneously, balancing time and quality effectively
Interact with PG counterpart in US
Participate in design review to get awareness on the standards and product
Shows attention to detail and exhibits high quality standards in engineering documentation
Be able to highlight complexity technical risks and drive mitigation plans during project/task execution
Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards and schedules.
Driving continuous improvement of system, Product and Processes.
Create/Update Spec Sheet, Procedure and Template

Mandatory Skills required to performing the job:

Proficient with use of Zuken E3S CAD software to Design cable harness schematics, Control Panel / power box Schematic diagrams and system interconnects diagrams.
Knowledge on Wiring harness, Cable Routing and Formboard (E3 Flattening)
Knowledge on design for manufacturability in cable design
Experience using Engineering Change Management Process

Desirable Skill:

Experience with capital equipment or similar (for e.g., process industries, medical instrumentation, automotive, aircraft, etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design projects.
Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams (including mechanical, electro-mechanical, software, process, manufacturing engineers) for major projects with multi-national work environment.
Detailed understanding of relevant design standards and compliance like UL 508, IEC standard, SEMI Standard (Electrical) etc.
