Responsibilities:
Overall Purpose: Responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, collections, assets control, product cost, labor or inventory analysis or consolidation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Prepares and analyzes financial statements and researches and explains variances for revenue, overhead and direct expenses (e.g, Cash Application, Lockbox processing, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Ad-hoc reporting account reconciliations, creates journal entries and prepares various management reports).
2) Performs roaming financial settlement will perform month-end close journal entries and account reconciliations.
3) Works with third party vendor on settlement process; perform collections activates; perform research on outstanding receivable and payable positions and communicate with roaming partners on settlement issues.
4) Prepares Revenue Based Tax and Regulatory filings, such as Gross Receipts Tax, Federal and State Universal Service Fund, PUC annual reports etc.
5) Performs state apportionment for revenue allocations.
6) Researches State and Local Tax laws, rules, and regulations related to return and filing processes.
7) Performs tax and regulatory liability account reconciliation and analysis.
