Education/Experience Combo
· Must have: Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or other related field and/or Associate's Degree plus 2 years' manufacturing/production experience and/or High School diploma plus 4 years' manufacturing/production experience.
· The site will consider candidates with an Associate's degree who have less than the required 2 years manufacturing/production experience if it is a local Biotech degree. This is the only exception to the education/experience combo requirement at this time.
Firm Requirements
· Requires basic knowledge of manufacturing function, acquaintance with and general understanding of aspects of the production process and ability to apply this knowledge to situations ordinarily encountered.
· Basic computer skills with Word and Excel.
· Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
Nice-to-Have's/Preferences
· Experience with Electronic Management Systems.
· Basic biological equipment knowledge and/or experience (i.e.: fermentation, centrifuge, concentration units).
· Basic understanding of biological organisms.
· Understands basic PPE/OSHA safety requirements.
· Understands sterilization and decontamination processes.
· Manufacturing/Production experience in the following fields: Mechanics, BioFuel, Food Production, Pharma, Military (if more focused on mechanics and production).
