Role: Senior Account Director  

Location: Slough, England, United Kingdom

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Senior Account Director will be responsible for running creative and production processes and working alongside our team to drive a project from brief to delivery. They have a good understanding of digital disciplines, and are confident working in agency teams. They create timing plans and budgets within our Traffic system, assume responsibility for the review and approval process of creative output and ensure the projects they own, run on time and on budget. 

You will need to be great with creative teams and account teams alike, hardworking, passionate about creativity and producing the best product you can. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

Client Relationship

  • Work in true collaboration with the client and be responsible for Brand Guardianship on their projects to ensure the client experience is as positive as possible.
  • Be the trusted advisor of the client, ensuring that you are the go-to and most trusted person on the account.
  • Own the execution of projects and ensure client satisfaction is maintained throughout the project.
  • Anticipate and manage any issues by staying in close contact with the client and truly understanding what they need.

Project Set Up

  • Taking overall ownership of integrated creative projects from brief to fulfillment.
  • Working closely with strategy and account teams in preparing social strategy and milestones for the client.
  • Liaising with clients to determine campaign scope and produce estimates and schedules.
  • Identifying, exploiting and managing ad hoc opportunities when they arise.
  • Working with account teams to agree and create timing plans and estimates within our internal Traffic system.
  • Estimating complex, cross-platform social projects.
  • Take overall financial control of their projects, including profitability, accuracy of forecasting, as well as fee negotiation, providing regular and timely reports to the management.

Project Delivery

  • Schedule projects in line with the correct internal resource and help to source external resource where necessary.
  • Ensure projects follow the agency process and are completed on time and on budget.
  • Work closely with Digital / TV / Print Producers to unify skills needed to execute integrated campaigns.
  • Motivate and manage teams under tight deadlines.
  • Educate and manage internal stakeholders in relevant production processes where necessary.
  • Drive efficiency and creative excellence at all times.

Reporting 

  • Provide job reporting to the Design Lead (DL) on a regular basis to ensure projects are running correctly, to budget and schedule.
  • Ensures they understand how to report and manage operational income for their projects in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Escalates any queries concerning invoicing, or estimates provided by the studio on their projects to the BD.
  • Create business and operational data for clients on a regular basis

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

You can say you have: 

  • Experience managing digital and integrated campaigns in a creative and production agency. 
  • Strong track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms in particular social media.
  • Need to be a self-starter and a natural leader to be able to manage the team and client's day to day with very limited oversight
  • Used to leveraging the experience of video and photography Producers as part of a holistic approach to campaign execution.
  • Previous experience of Project Budget Management and Scheduling.
  • Previous experience of Resource and Production services sourcing.
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
  • Have a positive, can-do outlook, willing to leverage experience to provide the best solution for each project you own.
  • Be willing to share your experience where relevant and when it adds to the offering to the client.
  • A pro-active and can do approach and used to moving at speed to deliver effective work and client solutions.
  • Be financially conscientious when managing the delivery of a project, ensuring all relevant parties are aware of the financial implications of delays, additional amends and re-briefs.
  • Be able to verify the qualitative and quantitative output of a project against the project objectives.
  • Act as the first line of contact and digital expert for the Client and Account Mangers in the life cycle of a digital project.
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top-tier agency service.
  • Be unafraid to ask questions and have an innate ability to identify and manage project risk.
  • Knowledge of creating content for CMSs and E-commerce would be a bonus.
