RN Psych

• Using leadership skills and the nursing process the RN strives to meet the needs of the patient/significant others in a safe, caring, professional manner, provides for the well-being of the patients through patient advocacy, education and effective collegial communication with physicians, other departments and staff. Responsible for maintaining and improving clinical skill through professional development and serves as role model for others. Performs responsibilities within the guidelines of the nursing structure standards. Hospital/nursing policy, state, regulatory and accrediting requirements. California Nurse Practice Act and Standards of Competent Performance.

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Experienced in acute care setting preferred.
• Experienced in behavioral health preferred.
