Today, our shops are open in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Austria. </strong></p><p><strong>Working at Matsmart, you will join our fight against food waste and contribute to making the world a better place. </strong></p><p>We are now looking for a temporary accountant to cover for a maternity leave between February and September 2025. In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day accounting throughout all subsidiaries as well as month-end reconciliation. You will be a part of our finance team consisting of accountants, controllers and our CFO and you will be reporting to the Head of Group Accounting.</p><h3><strong>What you’ll do as an Accountant</strong></h3><ul> <li>Issue B2B invoices</li><li>Support in AP flow</li> <li>Prepare journal entries</li> <li>Tax reconciliation and reporting</li> <li>Reconcile balance accounts, bank accounts and sales</li> <li>Be a part in the month-end and year-end closing processes</li> <li>Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation</li> <li>Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process</li></ul><p> </p><h3><strong>To be successful in this role, we believe you need to have</strong></h3><ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field</li> <li>Good understanding of accounting principles and practices</li> <li>To be a professional user of MS Excel or Google Sheets</li> <li>Strong written and spoken English and Swedish skills</li> <li>At least 3 years of working experience in a relevant field</li> <li>Experience of working in Netsuite is a plus</li> <li>Experience of working with entities in Germany, Finland and Denmark is a plus. </li></ul><h3><strong>What we offer</strong></h3><p>Matsmart offers a social and energizing workplace where creativity and ideas are more than welcome and appreciated.
