Job Summary
The PeopleSoft Security Administrator will administer the day-to-day PeopleSoft FSCM/HCM/ELM systems. The PeopleSoft Security Administrator responsibilities include maintaining security in PS development & production environments, creating new roles, permission lists etc. This role will be called on to troubleshoot access issues, support testing activities, support application of patches and upgrades. Perform other duties as assigned.

General tasks and responsibilities will include:
Designing, executing, and upholding various security aspects, encompassing roles, permission lists, definition security, row-level data security, project/group security within FSCM, and customization of security classes.

Taking charge of web server security, involving tasks like configuring SSL certificates, managing LDAP, and establishing single sign-on setup.

Providing day-to-day support for application security and administrative tasks, including handling help desk tickets related to security configuration and workflow administration.

Assuming responsibility for gathering requirements, designing, testing, and maintaining a secure environment to support HCM, ELM and FSCM 9.2 PeopleSoft applications.

Creating and implementing security plans and procedures for PeopleSoft applications, conducting security reviews and access audits, proposing security solutions, offering guidance on application-level security setups, delivering security training to end users, and investigating and mitigating security risks as necessary.

Overseeing all aspects of managing and monitoring access to PeopleSoft resources, such as pages, processes, queries, trees, reports, components, services, integrations, customizations, and tools.

Demonstrating proficient knowledge of PeopleSoft Workflow (AWS).

Maintaining security across all environments to support development, testing, and production phases.

Taking part in technical and functional testing of applications to ensure alignment with business requirements.

Supporting the project team by establishing and promptly executing user maintenance procedures.

Collaborating closely with other teams to enhance efficiency in the security request and fulfillment process.

Possessing security expertise specifically related to PeopleSoft 9.2.

Supporting security expertise for new PUM images for ELM,HCM and FSCM.

Must have expertise in Fluid homepage, Fluid pages and Tiles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
CERTIFICATION(S)/NYS LICENSE(S):

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, or a related field of study in STEM
KNOWLEDGEABLE IN:
Technical proficiency in:
o PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, PS/Query EQUIPMENT/MACHINES OPERATED:

General Office equipment (computer, scanner, printer, phones)


YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Five (7) years of PeopleSoft technical experience in security, system design and production support
OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS:
Must be able to collaborate
Experience in system documentation
Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage and report on many concurrent activities

SPAN OF CONTROL (# and Type of Staff Directly Supervised)
The EITS Security Architect will interface between the CISO's strategic and process-based activities and the work of the technology-focused analysts, engineers and administrators in the IT organization. The Security Architect must be able to translate the IT security requirements and constraints of the business into technical control requirements and specifications, as well as develop metrics for ongoing performance measurement and reporting. The Security Architect coordinates the IT organization's technical activities to implement and manage security.
The EITS Security Architect is part of the Enterprise Information Technology Services, Information Security and Risk Management team and will work at an enterprise level to ensure a consistent delivery of information security and risk management services. This individual will act as a subject matter expert to the assigned business units on matters regarding information security and compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, DSRIP, COBIT, and state privacy laws.
General Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include: Lead and coach on the definition of security architecture, including the development and implementation of effective security administration processes for all platforms. Actively engage in security architecture solutioning within key pre-implementation systems Identify and implement emerging data access control technologies, information systems security issues, Products, and techniques. Perform security reviews and identify security gaps in security architecture, resulting in recommendations for inclusion into the risk mitigation strategy
Provide Security Architecture guidance to Senior EITS Management within Client and engage with multiple cross functional teams Conduct application vulnerability scans, recognize vulnerabilities in security systems, and design countermeasures to identified security risks Design security controls based on information assurance (IA) principles and tenets
Work with the enterprise architecture team to ensure that there is a convergence of business, technical and security requirements; liaise with IT management to align existing technical installed base and skills with future architectural requirements.
Develop a strong working relationship with the security engineering team to develop and implement controls and configurations aligned with security policies and legal, regulatory and audit requirements
Keep informed on current threats and industry regulations.
Knowledgeable In:
Strong Knowledge of infrastructure, application and security protocols in addition to configuration management techniques and risk management/compliance/audit standards
Deep knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH, NIST CSF, ISO27001/27002 and PCI-DSS Standards and Requirements Knowledge of encryption algorithms Knowledge of known vulnerabilities from alerts, advisories, errata, and bulletins Knowledge of network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, principles (e.g. application of defense-in-depth), and traffic flows across the network (e.g. TCP & TCP/IP, OSI, etc.)
Experience working with network access, identity, and access management (e.g. Active Directory, access federation, multifactor authentication, PKI) Experience working with operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux, UNIX, MacOS X) Knowledge of security management and secure configuration management techniques Knowledge of software engineering Skill in assessing the robustness of security systems and designs and determining how it should work (including its resilience and dependability capabilities) Knowledge of IT supply chain security/risk management policies, requirements, and procedures
Other Preferred Skills:
Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently
Participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team
Must be able to work at various locations when necessary along with working various shifts
Educational Level:
A bachelor's degree in information systems
CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CEH, or other relevant security qualification
Years of Experience:
A minimum of ten years of IT experience, with at least 7 years dedicated to IT/Cyber Security, including Solution Design
