Tasks & Responsibilities
Managing Program Housing
Ensure program housing is welcoming and comfortable for participants and faculty. Oversee accommodations, manage arrivals/departures, and resolve housing issues quickly to maintain satisfaction. Review feedback and improve services, serving as a go-to resource for housing concerns.
Track payments and support management of the department budget, ensuring services meet program standards. Provide support on housing contracts and communication with providers.
Support Student Well-Being
Form part of the student services team which ensures the wellbeing of all program participants. Track and respond promptly to student needs, providing compassionate and effective support.
Other Tasks
All of the Barcelona SAE staff members mentor students, travel on group excursions and events (both inside and outside of Barcelona) and cover the emergency phone on a rotation (this is compensated), assisting participants during emergencies as needed.
