Skill Set:
· 2-4 years of experience with strong problem solving abilities to provide fast and effective support for clients experiencing basic hardware and software issues.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences.
· Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
· Good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Ø Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone
Ø Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Ø Walk the customer through the problem-solving process over phone
Ø Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Ø Respond to email messages for customers seeking help
Ø Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
Ø Follow-up and update customer status and information
Ø Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
Ø Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
Ø Install, modify, and repair computer software
Ø Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
